Thousands of job seekers lined up for a chance at a Nissan job at a fair Saturday in Murfreesboro.

Some of the applicants said they showed up at 2 a.m. to get in line for an application.

Nissan is hiring around 900 third-shift workers for main line production support at its Smyrna plant, with pay ranging from $12.50 to $18.50 per hour.

Yates Services hosted the fair at the Murfreesboro Career Center on Old Fort Parkway.

The fair ended at 2 p.m.
