'Flu Near You' tracks illness

We all know how awful it is to get the flu, but you may find some comfort knowing you can talk with thousands of others.

There's a new project called "Flu Near You" that is designed to track the flu.

Unlike other reporting systems, "Flu Near You" relies on tallies of specific symptoms in specific places to gauge.

As soon as you log in your information, you'll see where you are on the map compared to others.

You'll also be able to see other people who are sick around you.  So far, more than 2,000 people have signed up.
