Dickson police said two stepbrothers are now charged in a home invasion and murder.

Dickson Public Safety Director Ricky Chandler told Channel 4 News that James Case and William Forrester are accused of bursting into John Travierso, Sr.'s home on Robin Hood Road on Oct. 22.

Police said the suspects shot Travierso and sprayed him with pepper spray. The victim died later at Vanderbilt from his injuries.

Officers said Travierso's son and wife were home at the time.

John E. Travierso, Jr., 18, told officers that the intruders wore masks, and struggled with his father.

Police also found a small amount of marijuana in the yard of the home at the time of the shooting and home invasion.
