Petitions aim to "save" Thanksgiving Day from shopping

The Black Friday backlash has begun. With more and more retailers now opening their doors Thanksgiving night, a lot of people are furious, including stores' employees.

Several petitions have popped up online encouraging people to "save" Thanksgiving Day from shopping.

So far, more than 90,000 people have signed one on And, no surprise here, there are similar Facebook pages that tell people to boycott shopping on the day before Black Friday.

One Target employee says Thanksgiving is ruined because he will spend the day sleeping to get ready for his shift that night.

This comes after stores like Wal-Mart announced they are opening at 10 p.m.Thanksgiving night. Toys 'R' Us is opening at 9 p.m. that night, and Target,Best Buy and Macy's plan to open at midnight.
