Tide's Richardson carries extra incentive for LSU

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Trent Richardson has bitter memories from his last run-in with LSU's defense.

The Alabama tailback suffered a torn abdominal muscle and says what happened in that game provides more motivation going into Saturday night's rematch with the top-ranked Tigers than the chance to boost his Heisman credentials.

Richardson, who also had a slightly torn knee ligament, missed the next two games in 2010. Richardson says he "really can't wait to showcase what a healthy Trent can do."

Richardson has run for 989 yards and 17 touchdowns for No. 2 Alabama. The Tigers sport the nation's No. 3 run defense.

It was a game featuring the nation's top two teams that helped catapult Alabama's Mark Ingram to the 2009 Heisman - the Tides win over Florida in the SEC championship contest.
