Meetings to discuss new greenway, community center

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The Metro Parks Department is holding a meeting to talk about a new park and greenway in south Nashville.

This is the first of two meetings to talk about the design of the Mill Creek Greenway.

The project will span 72 acres of land from Nolensville Road to Old Hickory Boulevard.

Monday's meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at Oliver Middle School.

Sevier Park Community Center meeting

Metro Parks is also holding a community meeting to talk about plans for a new community center at Sevier Park.

The new community center will be the sixth of eight recommended in Nashville's master plan.

The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at the current Sevier Park community center.
