Several Nashville non-profits got a little boost Thursday, in the form of a hefty check.
Wells Fargo hosted their annual Day of Giving breakfast Thursday morning, at the Martha O'Bryan Center in East Nashville.
During the breakfast, 11 non-profits were chosen to receive a $1,000 check.
"Our branches chose who they would like to gift every year," said Wells Fargo District Manager Shirley Stevens. "The employees get to chose which non-profits they feel strongly about and the ones that have touched their lives personally."
The following groups received donations Thursday:
American Cancer Society
Habitat for Humanity Williamson County
Junior Auxiliary of Franklin
Martha O'Bryan Center
Nashville Rescue Mission
Ronald McDonald House Charities Nashville
Vanderbilt Children's Hospital
Youth of Middle Tennessee Competitors Association
The donation made to those groups are being distributed at community events across the state.
