U.S.A. PRIME CREDIT PICKS OF WEEK 3
New York Jets @ Oakland Raiders +3.5 Pick: Raiders +3.5
The Raiders are playing really well and getting points at home. They're an amazing last minute comeback away from being 2-0. The Jets big win last week is influencing this line a little much. This is going to be a close game. I think the Raiders will win straight up, so I'll take the points. McFadden is running in "Beast Mode" right now. Jason Campbell is building chemistry with former UT Vol Denarius Moore. Lots of tendencies are in favor of the Raiders. The Jets are away, have to travel cross country, and are coming off a confidence inflating win. Jets might win but I don't expect them to pull away.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Carolina Panthers -2.5 Pick: Carolina -2.5
This game is going to feature two rookie quarterbacks. On one side Blaine Gabbert making his first NFL start, on the other side, Cam Newton who has had two games of 400 yards passing. I'm on the Newton Bandwagon after watching him play against the Packers. I think Carolina will easily cover 2.5 points.
Detroit Lions @ Minnesota Vikings +3.5 Pick: Detroit -3.5
The Lions have looked great over the past two weeks, the Vikings have not. This will be a closer game for the Lions than last week but I think they will still put up a ton of points. I know these games never turn out how you think; Lions beat Tampa, Tampa beat Vikings, so Lions will beat Vikings, but I think this one will. Matthew Stafford will face more heat this week Verses Jared Allen, but the Lions offense has looked great throwing quick passes. Look for the draws and screens to Javid Best be big plays for the Lions against a high motor front seven on the Vikings.
Pittsburgh Steelers @Indianapolis Colts + 10.5 Pick: Steelers -10.5
Rule #1 this year... I will pick against the Colts until Peyton comes back.
Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks o/u 43 Pick: Under 43
These aren't the best 2 teams in football, not by a long shot. The Seahawks have no offense. These teams have hit the under on their past three match-ups in Seattle. 60% chance of rain (big shock right?) with a high of 64 and low in the 50's. Cold and wet for poor football teams doesn't amount to scoring.
