A Middle Tennessee elementary school was placed on lockdown Wednesday while law enforcement searched for two suspected burglars in the area.
East Hickman Elementary went on lockdown around 9 a.m. after the two men suspected of multiple burglaries were spotted in the area of Old Hwy. 46 and Hwy. 46 in Lyles.
Police used a helicopter and canine units to locate the men.
The suspects, whose identities have not been released, were captured some time after 1 p.m. and the school's lockdown was lifted.
There are no details yet on the burglaries the men are suspected of committing.
