Man accused of striking ex-girlfriend with his vehicle

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police will charge a man with attempted homicide after they say he intentionally struck his ex-girlfriend with his vehicle Tuesday.

Jordan Looper, 28, is accused of hitting Whitney Wiser, 24, with his GMC Denali in the parking lot of her workplace on Dell Parkway near Nashville International Airport.

Wiser was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center and is listed in critical but stable condition.

Looper was later apprehended by the Tennessee Highway Patrol on I-40 in Wilson County.
