A mother who was attacked with hot grease in front of her children got a helping hand this weekend.

A special benefit was held for Lindsey Arp Sunday afternoon in La Vergne. Lindsey's brother, Chris Arp, held a wrestling match to help raise money for Lindsey and her children. The benefit will help pay for Lindsey's medical bills and her mortgage.

Lindsey is still in the hospital burned on more than 40 percent of her body. Police say her boyfriend, Ryan Haase, doused her with hot grease back in April at their home in the Lewisburg community of Marshall County.

Lindsey's family says after months in the hospital, she is expected to get out Monday.

As for her boyfriend, he was charged with attempted homicide.
