CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Clarksville police said a semi-truck driver caused a deadly wreck when he ran a red light Tuesday night.

The wreck happened just after 7 p.m.

Police have charged Robert Gillespie, 73, with vehicular homicide and two counts of reckless endangerment.

According to a news release, Gillespie was driving a tractor trailer that hit a Lexus and Nissan Altima near the intersection of 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Trenton Road.

Police said the name of the victim was William Fenner, Jr., 63, of Clarksville, who was driving the Lexus, died at the scene.

Gillespie and the Altima driver, Venus Crump, 43, were treated for minor injuries at Gateway Medical Center.

Gillespie is being held on a $150,000 bond.  

Police are still looking for the driver of a blue or black pickup truck which cleared the intersection shortly before the crash.
