NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Tennessee is providing $100,000 to help hire construction workers at the Music City Center.

The money comes as a grant from the Department of Labor and will fund salaries for three full-time staff members.

The employees will work on finding more opportunities for job seekers. The goal is to get residents jobs on the city's biggest construction project.

The downtown convention center is set to be completed in early 2013.
