Holly Bobo's mom tries new tactics to bring daughter home

Posted: Updated:

You've seen the picture of her with makeup on. You've seen the one without it. Now Holly's parents are releasing a new picture where Holly isn't smiling, and this is just one thing she's doing to help bring her daughter back.

"Every morning of course I wake up with the same prayer 'Let today be the day that Holly arrives home safely to us,'" said Karen Bobo, Holly's mom.

Karen Bobo is no longer a teacher. Instead she spends her days going from business to business in Parsons and door to door handing out flyers and searching for unfound clues.

"I just try to ask them 'Do they remember anything about that day? Anything specific that anything, the smallest thing could mean something,'" said Karen Bobo.

Wednesday, she had new flyers printed. These feature a picture of Holly without her makeup on, but also without a smile on her face.

They've made fans, truck decals, t-shirts and buttons. Each day they try and come up with new ideas.

Wednesday Bobo sent flyers to Mississippi and she also interviewed with Channel 4 hoping to reach a wider audience.

"I, myself, have to do what I have to do and this is what I'll do until we find Holly and until Holly is back home with us where she belongs," said Karen Bobo.

Saturday night there will be a fundraiser at Nashville's Hard Rock Cafe to help cover the costs of making flyers and distributing them.

There will also be a candlelight vigil in Holly's honor Saturday night in Parsons.
