Mayor hosts 4th annual homeownership fair

Posted: Updated:

Nashville residents in the market for a new house will want to check out the Mayor's Homeownership Fair on Sunday.

The fourth annual event, hosted by Mayor Karl Dean, is free and open to the public.

Realtors, homebuilders, lenders and non-profits will be on hand to answer any questions about finding and buying a home, obtaining and mortgage and even how to increase your credit score.

The first 500 people to enter the fair get free tickets to the Nashville Predators pre-season games, and the first 100 people will receive special gift cards.

Door prizes include a washer-dryer and a flat screen TV.

The event runs from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Bridgestone Arena.
