NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Police said a mother lashed out at airport security agents Saturday while trying to stop her daughter from being properly screened.
In an arrest report from Nashville International Airport against Andrea Abbott, police said Abbott refused to allow security guards to pat down her teenage daughter. Police said Abbott feared her daughter would be "touched inappropriately."
Authorities said Abbott eventually allowed the pat down but then tried to take cell phone video and started yelling when she was asked by authorities to stop.
Officers ultimately arrested her on charges of disorderly conduct. She was transported to the Metro Jail with a bond set at $1,000.
