Taxpayers unable to visit an IRS office during the week will be able to get federal tax help this Saturday.
The Nashville IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16.
The IRS will offer help and advice to people who are struggling with paying off federal tax liabilities as well as answer questions about tax preparation.
"Due to changes in IRS collection procedures, this is a good time for taxpayers who owe federal taxes and are facing tough times to get a fresh start with the IRS," said Dan Boone, IRS spokesman.
The Nashville IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center is located at 801 Broadway in Nashville.
