Free immunization clinic offered to upcoming 7th graders

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The Metro Health Department will hold their second annual 7-7-7 Fast Track Immunization clinic Thursday, for students going into the seventh grade.

The clinic will be held at the Lentz Health Center on 23rd Avenue North.

Kids who are not up to date on their school shots can get them between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

All seventh grade students will be required to show proof of their immunization records including, a Tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis booster (Tdap) and a second dose of the varicella (chicken pox) vaccine, before entering school this fall.
