La Vergne police and search crews found the body of a teenager Sunday night who drowned while swimming in Percy Priest Lake.

Police said the 19-year-old man, identified by the city of La Vergne as Steven Bello, was swimming with his family around 6:30 p.m. at the Hurricane Creek Recreation Area Sunday evening. He went underwater and did not come back up.

Police found Bello's body around 10 p.m.

The victim recently moved to the area from California.   An autopsy will be performed, but police don't suspect any drug or alcohol was involved.

Two drown in White County

In a separate incident, two men drowned Sunday at Burgess Falls State Park in White County.

1 dead, 1 missing in Warren County

A fourth person drowned in Middle Tennessee Sunday at Rock Island, Tenn., in Warren County.  Also, a fifth swimmer was missing in Rock Island Monday, but crews were still calling it a recovery effort, not a drowning.
