CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - A chancery court judge has dissolved a temporary restraining order against Matthew Palmgren.

The restraining order was requested by Gail Palmgren's siblings.

Chancellor Frank Brown says the legal guidelines weren't met by the attorneys representing Diane Nowacki Nichols and Kevin Nowacki.

Chancellor Brown added "This is not a divorce case."

Because the issues brought up in the case are similar to a legal separation Matthew Palmgren had previously filed, Chancellor Brown says another judge will have to hear future motions on the case.

Nichols and Nowacki had asked that a judge to appoint a legal guardian for Gail Palmgren's two children, someone other than their father. They also want restrictions on how far he can take them.

The document goes on to request a judge prevent Matthew Palmgren from disposing of his missing wife's belongings, making disparaging comments about her, and hiding or destroying "evidence".
