Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Wynonna Judd and a host of others will spend the week working with children with development disabilities as a part of the ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp.
The classes kicked off Monday at the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center with a songwriting workshop and art and music session with Little Big Town.
Campers will get a chance to karaoke with Wynonna Judd and be part of a live performance with Darius Rucker at the Grand Ole Opry.
"It's fun to just get in there and see how creative they are, and be part of the way they can express themselves and shape it into something fun and big," said singer-songwriter Gary Allan.
The song they compose will be performed on the Grand Ole Opry later this week.
Each year the Academy of Country Music donates a $30,000 grant to make the camp possible.
