U.S. Agriculture Secretary Makes Visit To Nashville 5-20-2011
U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will be making a visit to Nashville in the upcoming week. He'll be at the Daily's gas station in Green Hills on Monday to talk about efforts to lower the country's dependence on foreign oil supply and in turn lower gas prices. In April, the Agriculture Department announced new incentives to fuel station owners who install flexible fuel pumps that offer more renewable energy options. The Obama administration has set a goal of installing 10,000 of these pumps nationwide within the next five years.
