Record Label Sues Singer Tim McGraw 5-17-2011

Country star Tim McGraw is getting a buzz on his new album from the Metro Courthouse.
McGraw's record label, Curb, has sued him, saying he's not holding up his end of his contract.
The singer said the songs on "Emotional Traffic" have been finished since last fall and that the label has been holding onto it for as long as it can.
But Curb claims the age of the songs is the concern, that it received the same recordings as so-called rough mixes a few months earlier, and that breaks the rules of a 1997 agreement.
Curb also alleged it should have had a say in the songs McGraw recorded but did not.
Despite this, the singer said "Emotional Traffic" satisfies all his requirements for Curb.
