The Davidson County criminal court clerk accused of only working half of the year will now be making less money. David Torrence received a pay raise in 2006, but the Metro Council voted Tuesday night to take it back.
He will now earn roughly $11,000 less each year.
The I-Team caught Torrence skipping work and using his city vehicle to run personal errands, such as going to a bank and liquor store.
Councilman Charlie Tygard introduced a resolution citing that government-owned vehicles can only be used for official business. Torrence has since turned in his county-issued car.
Kaitlyn Hunt's supporters say she is being prosecuted because she was in a sexual relationship with someone of the same sex. Authorities say it isn't a gay rights issue at all, but rather a simple case of an adult inappropriately involved with a minor.
