Man Accused Of Pulling Gun After Pepper Plant Chopped Down

A Murfreesboro man is accused of pulling a gun on a groundskeeper who accidentally chopped down a pepper plant.


According to our partners at the Daily News Journal, Murfressboro police have charged Gentry Swader with aggravated assault after the incident.


Police say he pointed a gun at the worker and demanded that he pay for the damaged plant. The  alleged victim told police that he handed over $18 and ran away.
