New Exhibit Opens At Tenn. State Museum 2-27-2011

The Tennessee State Museum will unveil a new exhibit Sunday on the art, culture and history of ancient Egypt and its influence on Tennessee.
The exhibit is called Egyption Relics, Replicas, & Revivals: Treasures from Tutankhamun.
It features several King Tut replicas.
The originals were damaged during Egypt's recent political revolt.
The free exhibit opened Sunday and continues until Sept. 4, 2011.
The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. For directions, parking instructions and information on upcoming events, visit target="_blank">
