An auto parts plant will be building a new $4.2 million facility in Hopkinsville, Ky., creating more than 100 new jobs, according to state economic officials.
On Tuesday, Gov. Steve Beshear announced the plans for DENSO Air Systems' new manufacturing operation.
The Japanese-owned company is planning to initially create 80 jobs, growing to 105 over the next several years.
DENSO Air Systems hopes to have the new facility up and running by mid-summer 2011.
The plant will manufacture aluminum pipes, tubes and hoses for the automotive industry, state economic officials said.
