Josh DeVine is an award-winning journalist who joined WSMV as a general assignment reporter in February 2009. From time to time, he also fills in as a news and weather anchor on Channel 4 newscasts.

In 2011, Josh earned his first Emmy awards for his contributions to Channel 4's coverage of the murder of Steve McNair and the historic floods of May 2010. Channel 4's flood coverage earned the station a nomination for a national Emmy award.
In addition, Josh has received Emmy nominations for his reporting, writing and coverage of spot news.
Josh moved to Music City from Vehicle City -- Flint, Mich. -- where he was a reporter and weekend anchor at WJRT. While in Michigan, Josh earned several honors for his work, including the state Association of Broadcasters "Reporter of the Year" award.
Josh began his career as a reporter and anchor for WBOY, the NBC affiliate in Clarksburg, West Va.
He is originally from Fairmont, West Va. and a proud graduate of Denison University in Granville, Ohio, where he earned a degree in Communication and Religion. Josh also holds a Master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in Evanston, Ill.
Away from work, Josh enjoys distance running and completed his first marathon in January 2009. As a long-time swimmer and a novice cyclist, he also enjoys racing sprint triathlons.
Josh also enjoys writing, photography, a good cup of coffee, and Sunday mornings at Cross Point Church. Josh also travels frequently and has spent time in dozens of states and lived in Turkey for a summer during college.
