Reporter Sara Dorsey said the Lea Avenue apartment did not look like the scene of a violent struggle, apart from blood stains and some holes in the wall.Cameras were not allowed, but Channel 4 was able to tour the apartment. With the help of computer-generated graphics, Channel 4 showed on Tuesday a first-hand glimpse at what the inside of the apartment looks like.Dorsey accessed the apartment through the same front door that police said Wayne Neely entered on Saturday afternoon and found McNair and Sahel Kazemi shot to death.Investigators said Neely, who co-rented the condo with McNair, went straight to the kitchen and did not notice anything amiss, even though he would have passed only feet from the bloody bodies.Dorsey said as someone steps inside the apartment, a light brown colored faux suede sectional couch sits to the left. It had been pulled out away from the wall by crime scene analysts. A television sits to the right, leaving a walkway of only a few feet.Looking at the section of the couch against the wall, both the back and the seat of the middle couch cushion have significant pieces cut out by investigators, but blood is still visible, according to Dorsey.Blood had seeped through into the foam of the seats, which was also cut open by investigators. The fabric of the backside of the couch had been removed, but blood was also visible on the wooden interior frame of the couch, indicating how long the bodies had been there. There are two pieces of wall removed behind the couch on each side of the middle cushion. Investigators' notes indicate strike one to the right, strike two to the left and blood splatter just above strike No. 1.Investigators said when Kazemi was found, she was lying on the floor directly in front of the couch at the feet of McNair. On Tuesday, there was a pool of blood about a foot and a half wide where the she was bleeding from the fatal shot to her head.Police said there are no immediate signs of any fight or struggle in the apartment. The house was very neat and clean, and Dorsey said it reminded her of a second home or vacation home with no personal photos on the wall. There was also liquor neatly arranged in the apartment kitchen and a $20 bill taped to the kitchen counter.Channel 4 was not permitted to go upstairs. There will be a public memorial for McNair from 3 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Thursday at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Mount Zion Baptist Church is at 7594 Old Hickory Blvd. in Whites Creek.A memorial service is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the church. This will be broadcast on Channel 4 and livestreamed on WSMV.com.Another visitation is scheduled Thursday for the Lewis and Wright Funeral Home on Clarksville Highway from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.Funeral arrangements in Mississippi are being held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Hattiesburg at Reed Green Coliseum at the University of Southern Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, fans are asked to make a donation to the following address:Steve McNair Foundation 1 Willow Bend Drive
