(Sports Network) - The Nashville Predators signed forward Colin Wilson to a three-year entry-level contract on Friday.

Wilson, a 19-year-old sophomore, recorded 17 goals and 55 points in 43 games for Boston University in 2008-09, as the Terriers won the NCAA men's hockey championship for the first time since 1995. He was also a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, which went to his teammate, defenseman Matt Gilroy.

In two seasons at BU, the Preds' seventh-overall pick in the 2009 draft has collected 29 goals and 90 points in 80 contests.
