Ex-Detective Pleads Guilty To ID Theft

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- A former Rutherford County detective admitted he stole people's Social Security numbers and other personal information.

Mark Warf pleaded guilty to identity theft on Monday.

The incidents happened between December 2006 and August 2007.

Warf used the information he stole to get credit cards in his name.

He worked for the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department for 20 years.
