SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. -- A new monument to World War II veterans is going up in Robertson County, and officials want the public to make sure all of the names that need to be on it are there.Currently there is a replica at the county archives building on Willow Street.The new monument will be on the courthouse lawn.Those who had a family member with ties to Robertson County who died in World War II are urged to call the Robertson County Archives at 382-6928 or send an e-mail to robertsoncoarch@bellsouth.net
County archives are also looking for pictures of each of the men in uniform.
