NASHVILLE, Tenn -- Pam Murray was gracious when she lost her Metro Council seat last week, but on Monday she compared the recall election process to death row."To agree with this act of injustice is like sending an innocent person to the death chamber, and with this reason, I cannot consent to this election," said Murray.Murray lost her seat to Jamie Hollin by just two votes. The election commission certified the results on Monday.Murray was late to Monday's meeting, but she read a letter she had written anyway, claiming the recall process was corrupt and full of what she called untruths.Despite her claims, Murray said she accepted the results.Hollin organized the recall election claiming Murray did not spend enough time in the district and did not respond to constituent concerns.
