Paper Says Democrat Will Make Formal Announcement This Month

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Another name can be added to the 2010 race for governor.State Sen. Jim Kyle of Memphis has filed with the state Registry of Election Finance.According to the City Paper, the democrat will make his formal announcement later this month.He joins four other declared candidates from his party: State Sen. Roy Herron, former House Majority Leader Kim McMillan, Nashville businessman Ward Cammack and Mike McWherter, son of former Gov. Ned McWherter, have all announced runs for the Democratic primary.
