NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A new poll puts Fred Thompson ahead of other GOP candidates in the 2008 presidential primary.According to Rasmussen Reports Polling, Thompson is the favorite with 28 percent.Rudy Giuliani is behind with 27 percent.Mitt Romney and John McCain were tied with 10 percent of the likely Republican primary votes.Thompson hasn't even announced he's running yet but was in London giving a foreign policy speech Tuesday.His advisors said it highlights Thompson's foreign policy knowledge and experience.
