NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Fred Thompson hasn't formally announced that he is running for president of the United States, but it is looking more each day like he could be leaning in that direction.This week the former republican Tennessee senator launched a new Web site where supporters can donate money and build support.Thompson took his first formal step toward a bid for the presidency by establishing a preliminary campaign committee last week.
