A bill that would make English the official language of Davidson County will face its final hurdle on Tuesday.

The Nashville City Council will vote for the third time on the measure known as the English Only or English First bill.

If it is approved, all Metro government business will be done in English.

Supporters said the bill will help communication between city officials and Nashville residents.

However, opponents claim the measure would isolate immigrants.
