Contact Tammi at 615-737-WSMTammi is country girl at heart and there's good reason. She was raised on a farm in Tallulah, Louisiana. She moved back to Nashville from Baton Rouge where she was an anchor/ reporter for WBRZ, the ABC affiliate. She went to University of Louisiana at Monroe and majored in Broadcasting.She previously moved to Nashville in 1990 and worked for WSMV, WKRN, and covered the Grand Ole Opry for TNN. She also freelanced for Entertainment Tonight, Lifeway Christian and Nashville Public Television. She was also a DJ in Christian radio at KBMQ in Monroe as well as the Christian radio network, Salem Music in Nashville. She moved back to Louisiana briefly for family reasons.
Tammi is currently working at the traffic anchor as part of the WSMV morning show. She still freelances as a reporter in Music City. Her hobbies include Harley Davidsons (her favorite is a Road King) and Cutting Horses.
