Dennis Ferrier has been with WSMV for 16 years. Believe it or not, he has done just about everything from general assignment reporting, investigative reporting, anchoring, sports anchoring, weathercasting, furniture mover and newsroom bouncer.

Dennis has won many awards that are in boxes in his attic. His greatest prize ever won in a newsroom is the hand of Lindsay Hudson, whom he married in Elgin, Scotland, in 2002.

They have three amazing daughters and one gregarious son.

The Ferriers are addicted to travel, good food, family and faith.

Dennis has coached 37 youth soccer teams, all of them with at least one Ferrier on the roster. Whether at work or at home, he believes that serving others is the key to a life of significance. He tries to be fair, but he is not always nice.
