Regina Raccuglia

Regina Raccuglia joins the WSMV team, not only as an award-winning journalist, but as your fellow Tennessean. Regina's proud to say she grew up in Middle Tennessee and she's thrilled to be back home.

Before coming to WSMV Channel 4, Regina was an anchor and reporter in Huntsville, Alabama. Her reports from across North Alabama earned her the "Reporter of the Year" award from the Associated Press.

During her stay in Huntsville, she also covered her own series of "Focus on Faith" reports. While covering the series, Regina met people she will never forget. From stories of overcoming extreme loss, to achieving great goals...her reports about people who faced major obstacles in this life were an inspiration to all who watched.

Regina is also an MTSU Blue Raider. While earning her bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University, she was an award- winning student who graduated with a major in Electronic Media and Communications and a minor in Spanish.

When she is not at work, you can probably find Regina hitting one of the beautiful Tennessee hiking trails, cheering on her favorite Nashville sports teams, checking out local coffee shops or, last but not least, spending time with her large and close-knit family.

Regina loves her job. She also has a passion for telling stories you and your neighbors care about. Please e-mail her if you have a story suggestion or a concern about your neighborhood.

You can reach her at regina.raccuglia@wsmv.com.
