Woman To Repay State For TennCare Fraud

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A Fairview woman charged with TennCare fraud will have to pay back thousands of dollars the state said she bilked from the health insurance program.Sarah Brunger was indicted in April, accused of transferring assets out of her brother’s name so TennCare would pay for his nursing home care. His assets would have kept him off the TennCare roll.Brunger, 68, has to repay $78,000 and will remain on probation for two years provided she pays back the state during that time.
