Firefighter Injured In House Fire

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Police are investigating a house fire that occurred Thursday night.

Officials said the home on 14th Avenue and Heiman was empty, and that the fire was possibly started by vagrants.

One firefighter was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center to be treated for burns to his face.

Officials said his condition was not considered serious.
