NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Following his conviction on second-degree murder charges on Thursday, Perry March is now on suicide watch at the Davidson County Jail.SPECIAL SECTION: March Murder TrialThis is a routine precaution taken for every inmate who receives major news that may affect their decision making.SURVEY: Were You Surprised By The March Verdict?He was not put on suicide watch for anything he said or has done.In fact, March's attorneys said they have high hopes for an appeal.John Herbison said Perry March did not receive a fair trial and that errors made by Judge Steve Dozier will add up to a mistrial.Herbison claims witness Nathan Farris was acting as a government agent when he was speaking with Perry March and that March should have had the option of having a lawyer present.Those who know Herbison said he is a master at crafting appeals.While March faces a possible 64 years in prison, his father, Arthur, will be released from jail in seven months, barring bad behavior.
