NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Pamela Rogers has been in prison less than a month, and she is already trying to get out.The former teacher, who had sex with a student, is asking the court of appeals to overturn her seven-year sentence.Rogers was ordered to the Tennessee prison for women last month for violating her probation by trying to contact her victim.Before that violation, she had served nearly 200 days in the Warren County jail.A clinical psychologist said in a July court hearing that Rogers was a sex addict who had been corrupted by her urges.Rogers worked as a physical education teacher at Centertown Elementary School, which the boy, now 14, attended.
