A handful of radio stations are dedicating their airwaves to Nashville's Rescue Mission. They hope to raise enough money for 56,000 meals.

"That sounds like a huge number, and it is a huge number," said Cliff Tredway of the Rescue Mission. "That's actually one month's worth of food."

Five Cumulus stations, including 92Q, are going commercial-free until 7 p.m. Tuesday. They're using the time to raise awareness and money for the Rescue Mission.

This is the fourth year for the on-air fundraiser.

The Rescue Mission helps the homeless get back on their feet by providing food, clothes and shelter.
