TDOT Road Crews Out Again, Still Urging Extra Caution
Despite TDOT Efforts, Roads Still Slick

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Department of Transportation officials said salt trucks are again out in full force on area interstates. The trucks will also be targeting off-ramps, on-ramps and some secondary roads.TDOT has already laid down 6,000 tons of salt and half a million gallons of brine after the winter storm, but slush and ice are still causing problems on the roads.Authorities advise people to stay at home if possible and use extra caution if they have to drive.Call 511 for updates on state road conditions.
