NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Two seniors from Hunters Lane High School are about to take a trip to one of the coldest parts of the world. They're leaving for Antarctica the day after Christmas to study climate change.Ian Cavnar and Tara Haley are the only students from Tennessee chosen to participate.Haley said it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.“I've never been on a plane by myself before,” she said.The teenagers will spend two weeks living on a ship and working with other researchers from around the globe.The students will need special equipment and gear.
