NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Metro police said on Monday that a woman who was thought to be missing was actually already in a local hospital.

There was a report on Sunday that Judy Clark, 57, a woman with dementia, was missing from her West Nashville apartment.

Police said a relative of Clark's last spoke with her early Sunday morning.

However, police spokesman Don Aaron said on Monday that a paramedic saw Clark's story on the news and said he transported her to the hospital.

It was unclear why Clark was hospitalized.
