Jamie Marie Snider was booked in the Warren County Jail in October, charged with aggravated assault. A grand jury previously indicted her on charges that she "intentionally or knowingly causing serious bodily injury to a viable fetus."

The indictment was times two, because Snider was pregnant with twin boys.

Prosecutors recently told the Southern Standard newspaper in McMinnville that Snider took cocaine while she was pregnant. Her babies survived a delivery by c-section May 3.

According to the Warren County sheriff, there have only been a couple of times before where a mother was charged with harming her unborn child.

With her court-appointed attorney by her side, Snider said earlier this month in court she was not guilty of the charges.

Her attorney did not return Channel 4's request for comment.

Snider's twin sons are now more than 6 months old and, along with two of Snider's older children, are in the custody of the state.

Snider spent less than a day in jail. She posted bond just hours after she was arrested.

Snider told Channel 4 that she used cocaine while she was pregnant and she "messed up." She also said that since her sons were born, she has checked herself into rehab and has been clean and sober for the past seven months.

She is set to go back to court in this case in March.
