The Kentucky State Police was notified Sunday by the Barren County Sheriff's Department regarding the discovery of three bodies in a field off of Happy Valley Road (KY 90), about one-half mile east of Cave City.

The sheriff's department said that the deaths were possible homicides.

Kentucky police said seasonal farm workers who had just left a nearby residence were interviewed, and two suspects were identified.

Marcos Bautista, 18, was charged with complicity to murder, tampering with physical evidence and possession of marijuana. Miguel A. Velazquez, 20, was charged with three counts of murder and tampering with physical evidence.

The bodies were removed by the Barren-Metcalfe Ambulance Service and transported to the Medical Examiners office in Louisville, where an autopsy is scheduled to be performed Monday.

The victims have not been identified.
